Remote: Recruiter for IT consulting firm (IST Hours) serving US and India clients (VJ)

Location: Remote (India) | Hours: IST business hours | Reports to: Team Lead, India Recruiting Type: Full-time | Comp: competitive + performance incentives per closure About the role You'll own end-to-end recruitment for India-based technical requirements — sourcing, screening, submission, and offer coordination for contract and full-time roles across our client portfolio. Responsibilities - Source candidates via Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals, and internal database for technical roles like Java, Python, DevOps, QA/Automation, Data Engineering, and Cloud roles - Conduct structured screening calls (20-min format, question-bank driven) and coordinate technical assessments (WeCP or similar platforms) - Log all submissions daily in the team tracker (Google Sheets); maintain accurate pipeline stages — no stale or duplicate entries - Hit weekly targets: minimum qualified submissions per open req, same-day candidate response SLA - Negotiate compensation, manage counteroffers, and drive candidates through offer-to-join without drop-offs - Provide daily EOD reports on sourcing activity, submissions, and pipeline blockers Must-haves - 5–7 years technical recruiting experience for IT services/consulting firms - Proven closure track record — be ready to share submissions-to-joins ratio for the last 12 months (we verify) - Strong screening judgment: ability to detect resume inflation, fake experience, and proxy risks - Fluent English (written + verbal); disciplined tracker hygiene Nice-to-haves - Experience with assessment platforms ( HackerRank), ATS tools, Boolean sourcing
