Performance Engineer

Job Description Responsibilities: - Work with a strong Development and QA team architecting systems for performance and scale. - Design, Develop and Execute on performance and scale engineering for Cloud File system and Data Management stack. - Create and Review the Performance Automation framework and tune the architecture - Use your strong scripting and programming experience to reduce cycle time to find bottlenecks in the product release lifecycle. - Champion the latest Monitoring and DevOps instrumentation as needed for Performance engineering lifecycle. - Own Non-functional and Automation charter with the Komprise Data Management stack. - Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure regarding performance engineering, design, and testing. Requirements: - 4-6 years of in-depth experience in validation of Performance and scale, preferably in Filesystem/storage stack. - Proven background as an individual contributor testing and automating highly complex, scalable, and reliable software. - Expertise in coming up with Automation Architecture aligning with Performance evaluations. - Familiar with monitoring Linux and Windows for system and process metrics. - Familiar with Application performance tuning across Java and C/C++ stacks. - Responsible for instrumentation of code, measurement, and identification of performance bottlenecks in the system. - Experience with Agile software development methodologies and principles. - BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
