Growing together.** **Primary Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable software applications, platforms, and services + Participate in architecture and technical design discussions, contributing to the evolution of platform capabilities and engineering standards + Build and maintain cloud-native solutions with a focus on reliability, security, performance, and operational excellence + Develop automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code solutions to improve engineering efficiency and platform stability + Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and operational tooling to support production workloads + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, security, infrastructure, and operations to deliver business outcomes + Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives + Ensure software solutions adhere to established security, compliance, and governance requirements + Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices + Support platform scalability and modernization initiatives through continuous innovation and process improvement + Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making + Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience + 6+ years of experience + 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise software applications and distributed systems + 4+ years of experience strong programming skills in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, GoLang, Python, C# etc. + 4+ years of experience building solutions on public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP + 2+ years of experience of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes + 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, testing frameworks, and automation practices **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and production support activities + Understanding of software architecture, system design, API development, and microservices patterns + Proven solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills + Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment _At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
