Manager , Graphic Design

Description We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Graphic Designer. This role will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective creative support. You will possess strong organisational skills for the delivery of graphic and creative support, working on a range of projects, collaborating with multiple teams across the business. You will be required to create, help quality control and resource the delivery of compelling content to support work winning, projects, marketing and business development. This will include the creation of presentations, proposals, infographics, marketing and promotional materials. You will be expected to interpret briefs, conceptualise creative responses, use your own initiative, work independently and also advise others to ensure that deadlines and communication objectives are met. You will be required to continually develop your understanding of WSP's brand, services and market position, as well as supporting the development of templates, best practices, systems and processes.You will proactively share knowledge to support other designers and help promote capability delivery. Responsibilities - Assisting in the allocation of workload to the graphic design function, taking into account individual team strengths, capabilities and overall resource availability liaising with the Graphics Manager to resolve challenges, as appropriate. - Routinely liaising with the equivalent senior graphic designer role in UK or India (as appropriate) to collaboratively manage team workload / deadlines. - Maintaining a live record of work requests and their progress using a joint UK / India platform. - Able to act as graphic design 'conceptualiser', interpreting briefs and proposing solutions which can then potentially be 'rendered' by more junior team members. - Working under occasional supervision, and routinely supervising others, providing quality control reviews and maintaining high standards. - As necessary, proposing modification to established processes, guidelines and templates, which may improve overall service delivery. - As Graphic Designer role, with the addition of the following requirements: - Able to give direction to and supervise more junior roles, allocate workload and undertake quality control checks. Qualifications - Any Graduate Degree.
