IT Network Engineer

Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: - Have good experience on maintaining and monitoring of network administration and engineering practices in the areas of Network security, routing protocols and switching technologies. - Ability to analyze, develop, test, optimize and deliver solutions to improve processes and Infrastructure as code automation practices with quality - Ensure integrity and security of networking through regular patch management - Understand and participation in Disaster recovery tests - Perform technical reviews of deploy guides, code and documentations - Provide innovative solution to complex technical problems and drive towards solutions - Focus on deepening expertise aligned to business needs - Learn, use and conduct technical trainings - Mentor junior team members - Effective communication across IT Teams - Provide support on critical network systems in an on-call rotation - Ensure adherence to standards and policies of the organization Required Position Qualifications - Full Time Bachelors degree - 5 to 7 years of relevant experience working in a network administration. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Highly motivated, disciplined and self-directed - Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities - Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills - Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Ability to lead projects - Willingness to work a flexible scheduling, including on call rotations - Preferred Position Qualifications - Have strong understanding of Networking firewall, Routing, Switching and wireless - Hands on experience with Palo Alto firewall, Cisco routing and switching - Experience with Meraki wireless and Azure Networking is a plus - Willingness to learn and adopting growth mindset - Scripting knowledge (Python / Ansible / Terraform) will be an added advantage Good to have Certifications: CCNP/PCNSE Skills: Ansible, Routing Protocols, Terraform, Cisco Routing, Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco Switching, Ccnp, Network Security Experience: 5.00-10.00 Years
