- Position Requirements Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Go Engineer to work on scalable backend services, network infrastructure, and cloud-based platform systems in the security domain. The role focuses on building robust Go APIs and distributed services, improving networking reliability and performance, supporting infrastructure automation, and contributing to secure, production-grade service delivery. Required Experience 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend, cloud, network, or infrastructure systems. Strong production experience with Go / Golang for scalable services and APIs. Experience building RESTful APIs and service-to-service communication. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with Linux systems, troubleshooting, and runtime diagnostics. Strong knowledge of TCP, UDP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and protocol analysis. Understanding HTTP, HTTPS, TLS, and secure communication principles. Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure as code practices. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Route 53, ASGs, S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, virtual machines, AWS, and OpenStack. Experience with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Artifactory. Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, monitoring, observability, and production support. Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and troubleshooting. Experience designing AI agents using goal-driven, multi-step workflows Ability to build reusable agent skills and orchestrate them via MCP/tools Strong LLM/prompt engineering with structured outputs and validation Integration with SDLC tools (GitHub, CI/CD, Jira) Experience implementing evaluation, quality gates, and monitoring for AI systems Understanding of agent reliability, cost optimization, and governance Working knowledge of testing methodologies, regression testing, and post-release verification. Areas of responsibility Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance services using Go / Golang. Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-to-service integrations. Implement and support network infrastructure with focus on security, reliability, and scalability. Use Terraform and related IaC tools to provision and maintain infrastructure. Collaborate with development, DevOps, QA, security, and operations teams. Analyze existing systems and recommend performance, scalability, and reliability improvements. Troubleshoot issues across services, infrastructure, containers, VMs, cloud, and network layers. Support the full SDLC from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and production support. Improve monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational readiness. Ensure system security through best practices and proactive engineering improvements. Participate in standups, technical discussions, decision-making, and solution design.
