Role Overview This role involves the design, architecture, implementation, and operation of large-scale cloud systems. You will autonomously define the technical direction of these services and shape the feature roadmap. You will collaborate with extraordinary talent and have the opportunity to hire and build the team that best executes on the product vision. This role would expose you to solving problems of scale in the areas of distributed systems of cloud-scale, large scale data processing, Agentic AI. Key job responsibilities As a Sr. Software Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the definition, vision, design, roadmap, and development of core applications and services within the Affordability and Category Experiences engineering team. You will: • Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers (mobile, front-end, backend) including Principals, product managers, designers, and marketers • Design, test, learn, and iterate on solutions in a fast-paced environment • Own the technical architecture and drive system design decisions for large-scale distributed systems • Lead and mentor engineers, and drive best practices using AI driven SDLC around design, coding, testability, and security • Deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that directly impact millions of customers
