Associate Project Manager

Job Title: Associate Project Manager Experience: 2 - 4 years Employment Type: Full-Time Work mode: On-site Location: Raidurg Main Road, Hyderabad. Notice Period: Immediate Joiner (15-30 days) About the Role The Associate Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery, monitoring team progress, supporting Agile project execution and delivering solutions that meet client requirements. The role involves backlog management, sprint coordination, reporting, documentation, team collaboration and assisting in project planning activities. Responsibilities Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management - Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, development teams and QA team to ensure timely deliverables. - Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, blockers and dependencies. - Prepare and maintain Minutes of Meeting (MoMs), action items, project documentation and status reports. - Assist in gathering, documenting and clarifying business requirements. - Support release planning and delivery activities. Agile Project Management - Manage and maintain Agile boards using Azure DevOps. - Create, refine and manage user stories, tasks, bugs and acceptance criteria. - Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, Daily Standups, and Retrospectives. - Track sprint progress and ensure work items are updated accurately. - Coordinate with team members to ensure successful sprint execution. Team Coordination - Coordinate activities across development and QA teams. - Monitor team progress and help remove blockers impacting delivery. - Assist with effort estimations and resource planning activities. Reporting & Project Tracking - Prepare project status reports, effort reports, utilization reports and delivery metrics. - Maintain project dashboards and ensure reporting accuracy. - Support project planning, estimation and tracking activities. - Monitor project timelines and communicate delivery status to stakeholders. AI-Assisted Project Management - Leverage AI tools to improve project management productivity and efficiency. - Utilize AI-assisted techniques for user story drafting, documentation, reporting, meeting summaries, and project analysis. - Apply AI tools responsibly while validating outputs against business requirements and stakeholder expectations. - Use AI-powered tools to streamline routine project management activities while maintaining quality and accuracy. - Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and their impact on project delivery and team productivity. Required Qualifications - 2-4 years of experience as an Associate Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Scrum Coordinator, or similar role. - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, work item tracking, and reporting. - Experience creating and managing user stories, tasks, bugs, and acceptance criteria. - Ability to coordinate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. - Experience preparing MoMs, project reports, and project documentation. - Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for project tracking, effort reporting, and data analysis. - Basic understanding of software development and QA processes. - Experience using AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar tools for project management and documentation activities. Good to Have - Exposure to web application development projects. - Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as React. - Basic understanding of backend technologies such as .NET. - Familiarity with database concepts and SQL fundamentals. - Awareness of APIs and system integrations. - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Experience preparing utilization reports and resource allocation reports. - Agile/Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM or SAFe. - Exposure to analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI.
