The role will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, qualification support, and ensuring high instrument uptime and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities** + Install, commission, maintain, and repair **HPLC/UHPLC systems** at customer sites. + Perform preventive maintenance and systematic troubleshooting of instrument hardware and performance issues. + Diagnose problems related to **pumps, autosamplers, injectors, detectors, fluidics, electronics, and system communication** . + Perform instrument performance verification and support **IQ/OQ/qualification activities** as applicable. + Respond to customer service calls and ensure timely resolution with minimum instrument downtime. + Provide customers with technical guidance on instrument operation, routine maintenance, and good HPLC practices. + Complete service reports and other required documentation accurately and on time. + Coordinate with technical support, applications, sales, and other internal teams for complex customer requirements. + Follow applicable **quality, EHS, and customer-site compliance requirements** . + Manage assigned territory/service calls effectively and maintain strong customer relationships. **Qualification & Experience** + Bachelor's degree / Diploma in **Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry** , or related discipline. + **3-6 years of hands-on field service experience** with HPLC/UHPLC or similar analytical instrumentation. + Good understanding of **HPLC principles, fluidics, electronics, and instrument troubleshooting** . + Experience supporting customers in **pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, CRO, QC, or analytical laboratories** is preferred. · Working knowledge of chromatography software/CDS and regulated laboratory environments is desirable. **Key Competencies** + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to independently handle field service calls and technical escalations. + Good documentation and time-management skills. + Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. + Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to **quality, safety, and customer satisfaction** .
