Senior Software Engineer – Legacy Modernization & AI Automation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Collaborate effectively within a lean team structure focused on core legacy application support, optimization, and modernization. - Drive robust lift-and-shift strategies as well as meticulous deep-architectural refactoring initiatives for existing enterprise applications. - Actively leverage AI-based development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and modern DevOps automation to significantly accelerate software delivery speed and enhance engineering standards. - Perform detailed code analysis, proactive performance tuning, regression testing, and systemic stabilization of legacy software environments. - Ensure absolute end-to-end ownership of development pipelines and tasks with minimal supervisor oversight. - Align all newly developed modern features and components with the pre-existing tech stack structure and corporate architecture standards. - Collaborate dynamically with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering sprints with critical operational milestones and ensure smooth delivery. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS - Modernization Expertise: Proven hands-on experience navigating complex legacy software codebases, performing technical debt evaluations, and executing migration patterns. - Full-Stack Core Proficiency: Deep practical competence in at least one backend ecosystem and frontend ecosystem as applicable: Backend: Node.js, Java, or .NET Frontend: Angular or React - Cloud & CI/CD Frameworks: Comprehensive deployment experience utilizing major cloud architectures (AWS or Azure) and establishing structured automation pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). - AI & Automation Tooling: Hands-on exposure to modern AI-assisted coding extensions, continuous testing applications, and progressive DevOps automation. - Quality & Observability: Solid diagnostic knowledge utilizing code coverage analysis, structured logging, monitoring suites, and system-level debugging tools. - Core Competencies: Superior standalone problem-solving capacity, clear professional communications skills, an autonomous work ethic, and a preference for in-office team collaboration Skills:- Java, Angular (2+), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Windows Azure
