About Position: We are looking for a Senior Automation Device Testing Engineer with strong experience in platform/system testing of embedded devices, focusing on performance, battery, and hardware-level validation. Role: Automation Device Testing Engineer Location: Bangalore / Pune Experience: 10+ Years Job Type: Full-Time Employment What You'll Do: You will lead automation and validation activities for embedded devices, ensuring performance, stability, and reliability across system and application layers Conduct platform/system-level testing on embedded devices Perform performance testing including system, application, UX, and benchmarking Execute battery testing, power measurement, and duration of usage (DoU) validation Carry out camera functional and performance testing Define and implement automation test strategy and framework design Develop test scripts and automate test workflows Perform testing on native apps (AOSP apps), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, sensors, and third-party applications Collect logs at various levels and perform first-level triage and analysis Design test cases, test plans, and test procedures Execute feature, smoke, sanity, regression, performance, and stability testing Document defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM Reproduce, verify, and track defects to closure Expertise You'll Bring: You bring extensive experience in embedded device testing, with strong expertise in automation, performance validation, and system-level debugging 10+ years of experience in device/platform/system testing Strong experience in performance, benchmark, UX, and system testing Hands-on experience in battery testing, power measurement, and DoU analysis Experience in camera testing (functional and performance) Strong expertise in automation strategy, framework design, and script development Hands-on testing experience with AOSP apps, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, sensors, and third-party apps Experience in log collection, triage, and root cause analysis Strong experience in designing test plans, test cases, and procedures Experience in various testing types including smoke, sanity, regression, performance, and stability Proficiency with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM) Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, or related engineering field.
