**Job description** Automation Tester Airline PSS Domain (Booking / Reservations / Check-in **Location:** Bangalore / Noida / Kolkata **Experience:** 6+ Years (Mandatory) **Notice Period:** Any Notice Period **Interview Mode:** Virtual + Face-to-Face **Work Model:** Hybrid About the Opportunity We are looking for experienced **Automation Test Engineers** with strong expertise in the **Airline Passenger Service System (PSS) domain** , specifically in **Booking, Reservations, Ticketing, and Check-in** functionalities. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in test automation for web and API applications and have hands-on experience validating critical airline customer journeys. Mandatory Requirements + Overall **5+ years of Testing experience** + Minimum **3 years of hands-on experience in Airline PSS domain** + Strong understanding of: + Flight Booking + Reservations + Ticketing + Check-in + Ancillary Services + Passenger Journey & Travel Operations + Extensive experience in **Automation Testing** + Strong experience in **Web Automation Testing** + Strong experience in **API Automation Testing** + Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Technical Skills + Selenium / Playwright / Cypress (any leading automation tool) + API Automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks + Java / TypeScript / JavaScript preferred + Test Framework Design and Maintenance + CI/CD integration (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.) + Defect Tracking Tools: JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps + SQL/Database validation knowledge Key Responsibilities + Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API applications. + Design and execute automated test scripts for airline business processes. + Validate end-to-end airline workflows covering booking, reservation, ticketing, and check-in modules. + Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and developers to understand requirements and define test strategies. + Perform functional, integration, regression, and API testing. + Analyze test results, identify defects, and support defect resolution. + Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation coverage. Preferred Skills + Experience with Airline Reservation Systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, Navitaire, or similar PSS platforms. + Exposure to GDS systems and airline operational workflows. + Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and CI/CD pipelines.
