GCP Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities: - Ensuring Cloud technical delivery as per the HSBC standards and security aspects. - Implement and maintain Devops principals while delivering and maintaining cloud services with the help of Full Stack Engineer. - Co-ordinates release deployment on cloud platform and supports systems in production. - Supports GCP platform specific support requests, incidents, issues, tickets to ensure flawless and quality delivery of services to end users. - Review and troubleshoot Cloud issues and agree categorization of high/medium/low. - Provide visibility of status of action plans for GT cloud technical implementation stories. - Challenge where appropriate, decisions made on control implementation. Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience: - Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or mathematics. GCP certifications are plus. - Good knowledge around Cloud infra elements like Compute, Storage, Big Data, and Machine Learning basics. - Understanding of cloud infrastructure services like PaaS, IaaS, SaaS basics. - Good communication skills able to articulate at POD various levels. - Analytical and problem-solving skills. - Keen attention to detail, and demonstrable 'ownership' of problems and tasks. - drive and enthusiasm to deliver excellent service and continual improvement.
