**Title: Oracle EBS Project Accounting Techno-Functional Consultant** **Location: Bangalore/Chennai (Hybrid - 3 days/week in Office)** **Experience** 3-6 Years **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Project Accounting Techno-Functional Consultant to support, enhance, and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite Project Accounting (PA) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of functional expertise in Oracle Projects and technical skills in Oracle development technologies to deliver scalable enterprise solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and support business-critical operations. **Key Responsibilities** **Functional Responsibilities** + Analyze, design, implement, and support Oracle EBS Project Accounting modules. + Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. + Configure and support: + Project Setup and Templates + Project Costing + Project Billing + Project Budgeting and Forecasting + Capital Projects + Project Resource Management + Cross-Charge Processing + Project Accounting to General Ledger integration + Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities. + Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend process improvements. + Collaborate with Finance, PMO, HR, and business stakeholders. **Technical Responsibilities** + Develop and support: + Custom Reports + Interfaces + Conversions + Extensions (RICE Components) + BI Publisher Reports + Oracle Forms and Workflows + Design and maintain inbound/outbound integrations. + Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. + Troubleshoot interface failures and data reconciliation issues. + Perform performance tuning and root cause analysis. + Support data migrations and ETL processes. **Production Support** + Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle EBS Project Accounting. + Investigate and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs. + Perform impact assessments for application changes. + Support testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities. + Create technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles. **Required Skills** **Functional Expertise** + Oracle EBS R12 Project Accounting (PA) + Project Costing + Project Billing + Capital Projects + Project Budgeting and Forecasting + Project Templates and Tasks + SLA (Subledger Accounting) + General Ledger Integration **Technical Expertise** + Oracle SQL + PL/SQL + BI Publisher/XML Publisher + Oracle Reports + Oracle Forms + Oracle Workflow + UNIX Shell Scripting + APIs and Open Interfaces **Integration Experience** + REST/SOAP Web Services + File-Based Integrations + Middleware Platforms (OIC preferred) + Data Migration and Conversion Activities **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field. + 4+ years of Oracle EBS implementation/support experience. + Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Project Accounting. + Experience in full lifecycle implementations and production support engagements. **Preferred Qualifications** + Oracle EBS R12 Certification. + Experience with Oracle Fusion Projects or Oracle Cloud ERP. + Knowledge of Agile and ITIL methodologies. + Exposure to Finance modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management. + Experience supporting global enterprise environments. **Soft Skills** + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. + Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. + Strong documentation and presentation skills. + Customer-focused and results-driven mindset. **Key Deliverables** + Stable and optimized Project Accounting processes. + High-quality technical solutions and integrations. + Timely issue resolution and root cause analysis. + Accurate financial and project reporting. + Continuous process improvement and automation initiatives. \#LI-AK1 **Who we are:** At Pearson, our purpose is simple: to help people realize the life they imagine through learning.
