**Job Summary** We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our Cloud Deployment and Automation Engineering team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and operating automated solution that enable large-scale cloud service deployments, infrastructure lifecycle management, production engineering operations, and continuous service improvements. The ideal candidate is passionate about eliminating manual processes through software, building scalable automation frameworks, improving deployment reliability, and driving operational excellence across cloud infrastructure and platform services. The engineer will work closely with software development and cloud operations teams to deliver automated and highly reliable cloud solutions. This role aligns closely with ongoing efforts around deployment automation, infrastructure build-out, service expansion and engineering productivity improvements. **Job Requirements** Deployment Automation - Identify manual tasks and develop software to eliminate repetitive work. - Build self-service workflows, orchestration tools, and monitoring integrations to automate operations. - Lead initiatives to reduce human intervention and boost engineering efficiency. - Enhance software deployment reliability and scalability via automation. - Develop tools for environment provisioning, configuration, validation, and release readiness. Cloud Infrastructure & Operations - Support cloud infrastructure build-out, lifecycle, and service readiness. - Collaborate with operations to improve platform resiliency, scalability, and support. - Contribute to infrastructure modernization, upgrades, and technical debt reduction. - Support large-scale distributed systems in public cloud environments. Collaboration & Technical Leadership - Collaborate with Software Engineering, Cloud Operations, Architecture, and Program Management. - Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to deployment. - Document designs, deployment procedures, automation workflows, and best practices. - Support engineering standards and automation strategy organization-wide. Required Technical Skills - Programming/scripting in Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash, or similar. - Experience with Linux systems in cloud environments. - Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP services. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. - Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation). - Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architectures. - Knowledge of REST APIs, asynchronous systems, and distributed apps. - Familiarity with AI-assisted operational tools and productivity solutions.
