Automation Engineer

Job Title: Quality Automation Engineer (Selenium and Python) Location: Bangalore Experience: 6–10 Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Quality Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, particularly using Selenium, Python, and BDD frameworks . The ideal candidate should also have hands-on experience with the ServiceNow application and a solid understanding of QA methodologies. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python - Implement and execute BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave) - Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies - Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for applications - Ensure test coverage and maintain high-quality standards across releases - Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation documentation - Identify, log, and track defects to closure - Work with ServiceNow applications for testing workflows, integrations, and modules - Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes Mandatory Skills - Strong hands-on experience with: - Selenium WebDriver - Playwriting - Python programming - BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Behave, etc.) - Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow application - Understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and SDLC/STLC Preferred Skills - Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) - Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST APIs) - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field - Relevant certifications in testing or ServiceNow (optional but preferred) Skills: Selenium Webdriver, Jenkins, Git, Servicenow, Cucumber, Api Testing, Postman, Rest Apis, Python, Selenium Experience: 6.00-10.00 Years
