Description We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Engineering team. This role is located in Pune In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: - Lead the end-to-end delivery of scalable full-stack applications across architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support. - Design and implement enterprise-grade software solutions using modern frameworks, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. - Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions in partnership with product, architecture, design, and engineering stakeholders. - Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, secure coding, and software quality best practices. - Ensure platform reliability, performance, observability, security, and operational resilience across applications and services. - Own production stability through monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous performance optimization. - Contribute to technical strategy, roadmap planning, and architecture decisions, including build/buy evaluations and solution patterns. - Leverage AI and emerging technologies responsibly to enhance engineering productivity and improve client and employee experiences. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred. - 8+ years of software development experience with strong full-stack expertise across backend and frontend technologies. - Deep backend expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3+, with proven experience building microservices and designing/implementing RESTful APIs. - Frontend development experience with Angular 14+, React, and JavaScript, including modern UI patterns, state management, and reusable component design. - Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Windsurf, Codex, or Devin, including effective prompt writing for code generation, refactoring, and test creation. - Familiarity with MCP servers and emerging agentic frameworks to extend AI capabilities in developer workflows. - Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms, preferably Kafka. - Strong knowledge of testing and quality engineering, including JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber/Gherkin, unit/integration testing, and experience with TDD and BDD practices. - Proficiency with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Veracode, or Fortify. - Strong DevOps and CI/CD experience, including Git/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern release strategies such as blue-green and feature-flag deployments. - Familiarity with observability and logging practices, including SLF4J/Log4j, log aggregation, metrics, tracing, and tools such as Splunk. - Experience with MongoDB, Snowflake, or other NoSQL/data platforms, with a solid understanding of data modeling for microservices. - Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and pair programming skills. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and collaboration platforms like Slack. - Experience with workflow and rules engines such as Camunda 7/8 and Drools 7/8. - Knowledge of distributed caching and cloud-native patterns, including Hazelcast 5 and Spring Cloud. - Exposure to agentic/AI integration frameworks such as Spring AI and LangChain4J. - Python experience for scripting, tooling, or AI integrations. - Financial services or securities industry experience.
