Job Title Search Engine Specialist Job Description Job title: Search Engine Specialist Your Role Manages the planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives, in alignment with marketing and business objectives and optimizes to enhance digital presence. Improves digital consumer experiences for specific channels or across channels, collaborating with stakeholders to implement targeted improvements that enhance engagement and satisfaction. Manages digital commerce initiatives, ensuring that all tasks align with business objectives, KPIs, and timelines, while optimizing for better performance. Performs analysis of digital metrics, translating data into actionable insights that inform decision-making and improve digital and ecommerce performance. Leads comprehensive data-driven analyses of consumer behavior, test or campaign results, using insights to adjust strategies and to feed into new plans. . Prepares and delivers reports on digital marketing and ecommerce performance, offering insights and recommendations to management. Collaborates effectively with team members and cross functional partners and identifies opportunities to improve processes and ensure efficient execution. Stays ahead of digital marketing trends and best practices, and translates to their area of responsibility to maintain a competitive edge and drive business results. You're The Right Fit If Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Proven experience as a Search Engine Specialist, SEO Analyst, or similar role. Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices. Proficiency with SEO tools and digital marketing platforms (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.). Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.). Demonstrable experience managing PPC campaigns and knowledge of Google Ads and Bing Ads platforms. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or related SEO/SEM certifications. Experience with local SEO and understanding of geographic-based SEM strategies. Familiarity with social media marketing and optimization techniques. Knowledge of other digital marketing areas such as email marketing, content marketing, and conversion rate optimization. How We Work Together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
