Java Software Engineer

Java Developer Location: Mumbai – Bandra Work Mode: Work from Office – 5 Days a Week Experience: 3–6 Years Interview Process: L1 – Virtual | L2 – Face-to-Face About the Role We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Microservices, Cloud Platforms, and Data Structures & Algorithms . The ideal candidate should have experience in developing scalable, high-performance applications and working in a modern microservices-based environment. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications. - Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot . - Build and maintain microservices-based applications . - Work extensively with Hibernate/JPA for database interaction and ORM. - Apply strong knowledge of Core Java, OOPs, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, and Java 8+ features . - Write efficient and optimized code using appropriate Data Structures and Algorithms . - Integrate applications with relational databases and optimize queries where required. - Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP . - Participate in application design, code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and production issue resolution. - Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and other development teams. - Follow coding standards, design principles, CI/CD practices, and Agile development methodologies. Mandatory Skills - Strong hands-on experience in Java / Core Java - Spring Boot - Hibernate / JPA - Microservices Architecture - REST APIs - Strong understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms - Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases - Experience with any Cloud Platform – AWS / Azure / GCP - Good understanding of OOPs, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, and Java 8+ - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Good to Have - Experience with Docker/Kubernetes - Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms - Experience with CI/CD tools - Knowledge of design patterns and system design - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology Interview Process - L1: Virtual Technical Round - L2: Face-to-Face Interview - Candidates should be comfortable working 5 days a week from the Bandra, Mumbai office .
