Currently 80+ source applications processing 200M+ rows/day/app on Oracle PL/SQL. Potential migration to AWS Databricks (PySpark/Python) over 2027. **Core Skill Combination** + **Oracle PL/SQL engineering:** dynamic SQL, partitioned tables, performance tuning, restartable processes + **Production discipline:** rerun safety, parity validation, ops handoff documentation + **Problem Solving:** Ability to validate data results and debug transformation issues effectively **Beneficial Disciplines** + Modern data engineering: Databricks, PySpark, AWS S3 + Banking domain fluency: Average Daily Balancing math, General Ledger structure, managerial ledger, Month to date accumulation, COBOL legacy deconstruction. + COBOL literacy - framework replicates legacy mainframe X7IC2x and X9AVGxx programs exactly + Banking product knowledge - Average daily balancing, interest accruals, split record behavior, etc. + Dynamic SQL ?
