Azure data engineer

Description We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud data engineering, specifically with Azure technologies, and will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our organization. Responsibilities - Design, implement and maintain data solutions on Microsoft Azure. - Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks. - Work with Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. - Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide support. - Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and services to ensure high availability and performance. - Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data governance policies. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data engineering. Skills and Qualifications - 5-12 years of experience in data engineering or related field. - Proficient in Azure Data Services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database. - Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying. - Experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala. - Knowledge of data modeling concepts and ETL processes. - Familiarity with big data technologies like Azure Synapse Analytics or Hadoop. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus. - Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
