Technical Coordinator SYSTRA India, a global leader in engineering and consulting for public transport infrastructure, is seeking a Technical Coordinator to join their Regional Technical Centre (CTR) team. With over 60 years of expertise and a strong presence in India since 1957, SYSTRA is committed to improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency. The CTR team in India plays a vital role in the international production of major projects across the SYSTRA Group. They boast expertise in the design of High-Speed Rail, Metro, Conventional Rail, Bridges, Highways, Depots, Stations, and Transport Planning, adhering to various international codes. The team excels in multi-disciplinary projects, seamlessly integrating Design, BIM, and Drawing production with different software. Missions/Main Duties Reporting to the Project Director, the Technical Coordinator will be responsible for: - Technical coordination and delivery of projects. - Reviewing Conceptual and Detailed Designs to ensure compliance with technical standards and specifications. - Ensuring Quality Checking and Quality Assurance of deliverables, aligning with client requirements. - Coordinating and discussing with technical experts to resolve inter-disciplinary clashes in design. - Leading technical coordination meetings , preparing minutes, and maintaining trackers. - Maintaining a log of coordination issues (who needs what from whom, by when). - Checking for compliance from clients and third-party reviewers, and coordinating with technical experts. - Tracking Field Change Requests and assisting clients with technical expertise. - Supporting the Project Manager during meetings with technical aspects of design in accordance with standards. - Keeping track of all deliverables to the client, identifying and raising Early Warnings for any submission delays. - Reviewing federated models with various disciplines, including clash detection. - Tracking comments and ensuring comments are closed out and designs are updated. - Ensuring internal interfaces are identified and resolved within the production team. - Ensuring the team meets program targets and resolving technical blockers. - Highlighting key issues/delays to the Project Director. - Assisting in managing coordinated drawing production for projects. - Reviewing and issuing deliverables to the Front Office management team. - Being willing to take up Project Management responsibilities. - Handling and coordinating with multiple Business Units (e.g., Civil, Structure, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing teams, with a special eye for MEP). Profile/Skills - Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering. - Experience: Minimum 8-12 years of experience in infrastructure design, with at least 5 years of experience in design coordination . - Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship management skills. - Basic knowledge of Infrastructure Construction workflow at site. - Managing coordination between inter-global, diverse, and multilingual design teams working at different time zones. - Proficiency in MS Office and PowerBI. - Experience with Bentley ProjectWise and Open Roads Navigator. - 3D BIM tools knowledge is an added advantage. - Site work exposure is an added advantage. - Familiarity with international project delivery and practices .
