Job Description

Description Key Responsibilities 1. HR Technology & Application Management - Own and manage the organization's HR technology ecosystem, including HRMS, Talent, Recruitment, Payroll, Travel, Expense, Learning and other HR applications . - Manage applications such as Oracle HCM, PeopleStrong, Happay, Quest2Travel, Disperz and other connected business applications. - Act as the primary technology SPOC between HR, IT, Business Application teams, vendors and implementation partners . - Drive application enhancements, configuration changes, upgrades, releases and new technology implementations. - Ensure application availability, performance, security and seamless user experience. - Manage application incidents, defects, change requests and escalations through defined SLAs. - Identify opportunities to simplify, consolidate and optimize the HR application landscape. 2. Integration Management – Core Responsibility - Own the end-to-end HR technology integration landscape across multiple applications. - Design, implement and manage integrations using: - REST/SOAP APIs - SFTP/file-based integrations - JSON/XML/CSV data exchange - Other integration mechanisms, wherever applicable. - Understand source-to-target data flows, integration architecture, transformation logic, validations and error handling. - Work closely with IT integration teams and vendors to design robust integration solutions. - Monitor integration failures, perform root-cause analysis and drive permanent resolution. - Establish appropriate monitoring, alerting, reconciliation and exception-handling mechanisms. - Ensure data integrity across upstream and downstream applications. - Maintain integration documentation, data mappings, interface specifications and dependency matrices. - Review and validate integration designs proposed by vendors/implementation partners. - Drive automation of integration monitoring and reduce manual intervention. - Manage integration changes during HRMS implementations, mergers, organizational restructuring and application changes. 3. AI & HR Technology Automation - Identify and implement AI/GenAI use cases within HR to improve efficiency, employee experience and decision-making. - Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and assess their applicability to HR processes. - Design and deliver practical AI-led solutions rather than limiting AI adoption to experimentation. - Work with HR stakeholders to identify processes suitable for AI automation. - Partner with internal technology teams and vendors to implement AI solutions while ensuring appropriate data privacy, security and governance . 4. RPA / HR Bots - Manage and enhance existing HR RPA bots supporting day-to-day HR operations. - Monitor scheduled bot runs and ensure timely completion of critical HR automations. - Troubleshoot bot failures and coordinate with RPA/technology partners for resolution. - Identify repetitive HR processes suitable for automation and develop the business case for automation. - Drive transition from manual/repetitive activities to automated workflows. - Ensure appropriate logging, exception handling, audit trails and monitoring for bots. - Continuously evaluate whether existing RPA solutions can be replaced or enhanced using APIs, workflow automation or AI. 5. HRMS Transformation & Implementation - Support implementation, migration and transformation of HRMS platforms. - Lead technology workstreams covering Core HR, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance, Compensation, Payroll, Leave & Attendance and other HR modules . - Define business requirements, HLD/LLD, integration requirements, data migration requirements and test scenarios. - Work with implementation partners to ensure solutions meet business requirements. - Lead data migration activities including data extraction, transformation, validation and reconciliation. - Manage integration testing, UAT, parallel runs and production cutover. - Ensure appropriate documentation and knowledge transfer from implementation partners to the internal team. 6. Data, Reporting & Governance - Ensure data consistency and integrity across HR applications. - Define data ownership, source-of-truth and data flow across systems. - Develop and maintain data dictionaries and integration mappings. - Support HR reporting, dashboards and analytics requirements. - Ensure appropriate controls around employee data access and data exchange. - Work with Information Security, IT and HR stakeholders on data privacy and compliance requirements. Core Technical Skills The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of: Integration - REST APIs/ SOAP APIs/ SFTP integrations - API Integrations - Data transformation and mapping - Integration monitoring and error handling - Understanding of middleware/integration platforms - Strong understanding of Generative AI and LLM capabilities - RPA & Automation Experience - 4–5 years of overall experience , with significant experience in HR Technology / HRIS / Enterprise Applications. - Strong experience managing HRMS and multiple integrated business applications . - Proven experience managing API and SFTP-based integrations . - Experience in HR technology transformation / HRMS implementation or migration. - Hands-on exposure to AI/GenAI and automation is strongly preferred. - Experience managing RPA bots and automation initiatives will be an advantage.
