Senior Specialist, Production Services Application Support Analyst

Description We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Production Services Application Support Analyst to join our Engineering team. This role is located in Pune. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: - Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to learn and take on challenging opportunities - Willingness to work in shifts and weekend/holidays - Application Support, support maintenance changes (Infrastructure patching and upgrades), application releases / deployments and enterprise events ( Disaster Recovery drills , Data Center rotations ). - Proactively monitor applications health, alerts/incidents from all systems and software changes that affect applications/business users and take appropriate action. - Provide quick support for escalated incident tickets and act as liaison to business and technical leads to ensure issues are resolved in timely manner. - Coordinate with various teams and raise support ticket for all issues, analyze root cause and assist in efficient resolution of all production processes. - Produce Ad hoc Reports for business users from database and periodic updates on the transaction volume statistics to senior management. - Support Infrastructure and Interfacing applications changes. - Provide on-call support on rotational basis. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: - Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science/ engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required - 5 to 8 years of working/hands-on experience in distributed application support. - Knowledge in Databases & Query Language - Should have hands-on working experience SQL/ Oracle / DB2 / MSSQL - Working knowledge in Unix/Linux/Windows environment - Should have knowledge Unix/Windows Commands - Should have good hands-on experience in Monitoring & Debug Tools like AppDynamics/ Splunk / Grafana / Moog soft or similar tools. - Knowledge of UNIX, Shell Script, IIS /Tomcat/ WebSphere Application Servers - Knowledge of Spring, IBM MQ, KAFKA - Knowledge on scheduling tools like CTRLM - Basic knowledge on Cloud platform - Container, App Engine, Command Line Interface (CLI) - Basic knowledge on Java or .Net - able to understand the code and exception from the logs. - Good to have knowledge on Gitlab, Confluence, Jira , NoSQL db ( Mongo ) , and BPM tools like Pega. - Experience in Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management - Knowledge of LLM prompt engineering and evaluation, RAG-based grounding on enterprise knowledge, tool/function calling and agentic workflows. - Experience in Automation and Banking Domain ( Payments ) is advantage - Strong analytical and communication skills - both verbal and written
