Senior Application Support Engineer

Description The C++ Developer will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions aligned with business expansion and evolving client requirements Responsibilities - Application Development - Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code. - Build high-performance applications for low latency trading environments. - Performance Optimization - Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and implement solutions to optimize performance. - Develop performance-critical modules ensuring minimal latency and high throughput. - System Design & Implementation - Participate in requirement gathering, system design, and technical implementation. - Contribute to scalable and resilient system architecture. - Code Quality & Best Practices - Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation. - Follow best practices including unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration. - Real-Time Data Handling - Work with large volumes of real-time market data and order processing systems. - Ensure efficient handling of data streams in high-frequency environments. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with clients, product teams, and internal stakeholders. - Act as a key contributor in delivering client-focused solutions. Qualifications - 7–10+ years of hands-on experience in C++ application development. - Strong proficiency in C++, including STL containers and algorithms. - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design. - Experience with modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17/20). - Strong knowledge of templating and dynamic polymorphism. - Familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, and Multicast networking. - Experience with Linux-based development environments. - Experience handling real-time market data and order management systems. - Familiarity with FIX Protocol. - Experience with Python for scripting or tooling. - Exposure to low latency or high-frequency trading systems. - Strong ownership and accountability mindset. - Ability to work in high-performance, fast-paced environments. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
