Azure Data Engineer

- Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform. - Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards. - Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products. - Be a productive member of the team. Requirements - 6+ years of overall IT experience, including a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience as an Azure Data Engineer with Python. - Demonstrated expertise in Azure Databricks, SQL, Python, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory (ADF). - Strong understanding of Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture concepts. - Proven ability to design, optimize, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines and workflows. - Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data pipelines using tools such as Datadog and Dynatrace. - Good understanding of streaming data processing and Unity Catalog. - Ability to apply best practices for efficient and cost-effective data processing. - Experience collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust data solutions. - Proficiency in Git and adherence to code management and version control best practices. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
