Positioned within the Global R&D structure, you will direct test strategy, automation frameworks, defect management, and regulatory test compliance to ensure superior product safety and performance. You will manage V&V project execution across multiple product lines within NMPH, align cross-functional resources with strategic milestones, and establish strategic partnerships with global R&D teams. **Critical Role Requirements:** + Software V&V Leadership: Proven track record leading software testing, test automation, and validation organizations for complex software systems. + People Management: Extensive experience leading multi-tier software teams. + Quality & Compliance Standards: Strong mastery of medical device software quality standards, risk-based testing strategies, and verification methodologies. + Delivery Excellence: Proven success driving test efficiency through continuous automation, CI/CD integration, and robust defect lifecycle management. **Required Skills & Competencies** + Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent from a reputed institute. + Preferred: Master of Engineering (M.E.) or Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science, Biomedical, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent + 18+ years of total experience in software engineering, test engineering, and product quality in a global product development environment. + 8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Verification & Validation (V&V), test automation architectures Operating System: Android/iOS, Java, Groovy, Selenium, Appium, Spock Framework, BDD-Gherkin. + 5+ years in software engineering management, explicitly overseeing V&V/QA initiatives, resource planning. + Proven experience managing large testing teams, and Test Leads as direct reports. + Demonstrated expertise in Medical Device Software Standards (e.g., IEC 62304, FDA 21 CFR Part 11/820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971) or equivalent highly regulated industry domain standards. + Experience establishing test strategies, test automation frameworks, regression suites, and continuous testing pipelines across Cloud (AWS/Azure), Full-Stack, Mobile Apps, and Embedded systems. + Experience owning end-to-end V&V deliverables (Test Plans, Protocols, Traceability Matrices, Defect Analysis, and Test Summary Reports) required for regulatory submissions. + Strong leadership, managerial courage, and risk management capability to make critical decisions regarding software release readiness and quality gates. + Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills to influence global cross-functional partners (R&D, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, and Product Management). + Fluency in English with up to 15% domestic and international travel capability. **Principal Working Relationships** + Collaborates closely with global Software Development, Systems Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance (QA), and Project Management teams.
