Sr. Backend Engineer

Company:- Neuralis - Senior Backend Engineer (Go) - Location: Bengaluru, India - About the Role - We are hiring for a fast-growing technology company building a high-performance digital asset trading platform. The engineering team is focused on developing scalable, secure, and low-latency backend systems that power mission-critical financial infrastructure. - As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design, build, and operate backend services responsible for order processing, trading, wallet infrastructure, market data, and external integrations. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving distributed systems challenges at scale while maintaining high standards for reliability, security, and performance. - Key Responsibilities - * Design, build, and maintain backend microservices using Go (Golang). - * Develop high-performance REST and gRPC APIs. - * Build event-driven systems using Kafka or similar messaging platforms. - * Integrate with external services, payment systems, blockchain nodes, or third-party APIs. - * Write clean, testable code with strong unit and integration test coverage. - * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automated deployment processes. - * Monitor production services using logging, metrics, and distributed tracing. - * Participate in architecture discussions, API design, and code reviews. - * Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous platform improvements. - Required Skills - * Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) with a solid understanding of concurrency. - * Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka (or equivalent messaging systems). - * Strong understanding of microservices architecture. - * Experience building and maintaining REST/gRPC APIs. - * Familiarity with OAuth/JWT authentication mechanisms. - * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows. - * Good understanding of performance optimization, scalability, and backend security. - * Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Experience - * 5+ years of backend software development experience. - * 2+ years of hands-on experience with Go. - * Experience building and operating production-grade distributed systems. - * Experience working with asynchronous/event-driven architectures. - Nice to Have - * Experience working on trading platforms, fintech products, payment systems, or other high-scale backend applications. - * Familiarity with blockchain integrations or digital asset infrastructure. - * Experience with Kubernetes, Azure, or cloud-native platforms. - * Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools. - * Understanding of AML/KYC workflows or financial compliance systems. - - What You'll Get - - * Performance-based incentives. - * Comprehensive health insurance. - * Flexible/hybrid work environment. - * Learning and career growth opportunities. - * Collaborative engineering culture with exposure to large-scale distributed systems.
