Software Engr II

Honeywell is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Software Test Automation Engineer** to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for enterprise and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in **Java, Selenium WebDriver, API testing, and test automation frameworks** , with a passion for delivering high-quality software through modern testing practices. As a member of the engineering team, you will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure robust, scalable, and reliable software solutions. + Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using **Java and Selenium WebDriver** . + Develop and enhance automation frameworks using industry best practices. + Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios. + Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar technologies. + Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools. + Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for issue resolution. + Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. + Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and testing metrics. + Improve test coverage and optimize automation execution time. + Ensure quality standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. + 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation. + Strong programming skills in **Java** . + Hands-on experience with **Selenium WebDriver** and TestNG/JUnit. + Experience in framework development and maintenance. + Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. + Experience with API testing tools and automation. + Knowledge of SQL and database validation. + Familiarity with Git, Maven, and version control systems. + Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
