Duties: We are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Product Engineering SRE to lead development and operational excellence of data products that deliver insights and drive business decisions. This role combines product engineering, data platform expertise, and site reliability practices to build, scale, and maintain customer-facing data products and internal analytics platforms. Key responsibilities: - Define and execute product reliability strategy for customer-facing analytics. - Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into scalable solutions, establish product metrics, KPIs, and success criteria. - Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve data product adoption and engagement. - Build and maintain data products including real-time dashboards, analytics APIs, and user-centric data experiences with focus on performance and reliability. - Implement A/B testing frameworks and experimentation platforms. - Establish and maintain SLAs for availability, latency, and accuracy. - Implement comprehensive monitoring for user-facing data products (including frontend). - Build automated testing frameworks for functionality and performance. - Lead incident response for data product issues affecting customer experience. - Monitor and optimize data product performance from end-user perspective (e.g., page load). - Implement user feedback collection and product analytics for continuous improvement. - Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Customer Success teams. Skills Required: - Data Engineering - Site Reliability Engineering - Incident Management - Monitoring - Tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog - Programming: Python, Java, Node.js - Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP - Observability - SQL Experience Requirements: - 8+ years in product engineering, data engineering, or SRE roles. - 5+ years building customer-facing data products or analytics platforms. - Proven track record of shipping data products with measurable business impact. - Experience across product lifecycle (ideation,launch, optimization). - Expert-level experience building user-facing applications and APIs. - Advanced programming skills (Python, Java, Node.js). - Expert SQL skills with query optimization for interactive analytics. - Extensive experience with AWS or GCP data and compute services. - Strong product sense balancing technical constraints with user needs. - Strong technical writing skills for customer-facing documentation and APIs. - Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking). - Track record of building and scaling product engineering teams.
