As a Senior Development Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting, developing, and optimizing distributed platforms that handle large volumes of data and complex workloads. Working closely with architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and product stakeholders, you will contribute to the design of resilient systems while driving engineering excellence, performance optimization, and secure software development practices. Requirements Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed systems and backend services. - Build reliable distributed applications with a focus on scalability, fault tolerance, and efficient resource utilization. - Develop robust Java-based services and optimize application performance for large-scale deployments. - Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries to support high-volume distributed environments. - Work with Hadoop and distributed data processing technologies to build scalable data solutions. - Implement secure communication mechanisms using encryption, authentication, and SSL/TLS protocols. - Troubleshoot complex system issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-quality software solutions. - Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical design sessions, and mentor junior engineers. - Follow engineering best practices for coding standards, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
