Senior Specialist - Package Implementation

Role Description Candidate should have 12 years experience having worked on SAP ECCS4HANA implementations for retail and CPG clients The location of the job will be in Mumbai HO Key Responsibilities 1Business Relationship Management BRM Strategic Alignment Partner directly with the Finance Controlling Tax and Commercial division key users to understand business requirements pain points and process complexities Act as the strategic liaison between Local Finance teams Zonal IT and Group IT counterparts to align the local financial systems roadmap with zonalglobal standards Evaluate and challenge business requirements to ensure scalable sustainable IT solutions that respect both global design templates and local statutory constraints 2 Program and Project Management Lead the endtoend delivery of complex finance transformation projects SAP rollouts system integrations and thirdparty SaaS implementations such as Concur Blackline and local tax automation tools Define comprehensive project plans work schedules risk mitigation strategies and status reporting mechanisms Manage the complete project lifecycle from requirement gathering fitgap analysis design and configuration with Zone team through to IT Testing User Acceptance Testing UAT production cutover and postgolive hyper care 3 SAP Finance Domain Expertise Drive strategic IT solution design with Zone Tech teams with a strong focus on enterprise ERP systems SAP ECC and S4HANA FICO Govern local statutory compliance initiatives on the SAP platform including Goods and Services Tax GST Tax Deducted at Source TDS changes Eway billing and Einvoicing mandates for India market Manage automated workflow systems eg Asset workflows CAPEX approvals and ensure robust master data management dependencies Material Master Vendor Master across SAP and nonSAP environments 4 Team Vendor and Key User Management Lead and collaborate with crossfunctional teams and SAP Key Users across the business to actively participate in testing change management and operational readiness Manage external IT vendors and system integrators ensuring deliverables match strictly defined Service Level Agreements SLAs technical quality standards and budget constraints Supervise change management programs including the creation of training documentation and conducting knowledgetransfer sessions for key business users Required Professional Experience Skills SAP FICO Tech Expertise Core SAP Modules Deep subject matter expertise in SAP FICO GL AP AR AA CCA PCA COPA and solid understanding of integration touchpoints with SD MM and external systems S4HANA Transformation Proven handson experience in at least two SAP S4SAP ECC transformation migration or greenfield implementation projects Indian Financial Landscape Comprehensive knowledge of local tax compliance processes accounting policies automated provisions and statutory reporting GST TDS modifications VAT automation Integrations Interfaces Familiarity with integration architectures including IDocs BAPIs BDCs LSMW SFTPs and RICEFW developments Business Relationship Leadership Skills Strong BRM Track Record Proven ability to build highly collaborative relationships with business stakeholders acting as a trusted advisor to translate financial objectives into robust technical solutions KeyUser Enablement Demonstrated experience in managing and training business keyusers coordinating widespread UAT campaigns and facilitating change management Vendor SLA Governance Strong background in managing external system integrators and consulting partners on complex project deliveries Key Competencies Excellent planning organizational and timemanagement skills with a resultoriented mindset Highly driven proactive make it happen temperament with an emphasis on operational excellence and agility Exceptional communication and stakeholdermanagement skills with the ability to influence crossfunctional business and IT teams Analytical and problemsolving mindset capable of resolving highly complex business processes through streamlined technological designs Internal and External Interactions Business Planning Business Development Finance Supply Chain Customer teams agencies Internal Zonal and Group IT counterparts Physical Demands eg travel Travel may be need based Education MBA in Finance BE BTech or equivalent professional degree Project Management Professional certifications like PMP preferred Experience Level 12 years of relevant IT experience with a significant focus on SAP FICO implementations business analysis and project management in the CPG Retail or Consulting domains
