As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with team members to apply modern development frameworks and agile methodologies, ensuring that the solutions delivered are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the unique requirements of the business. This position offers the opportunity to engage in continuous problem-solving and innovation to meet evolving project demands. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME.- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.- Assist in documenting technical specifications and user guides to support software deployment and maintenance.- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.- Continuously monitor and improve software performance and reliability through testing and debugging. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).- Strong understanding of IT service management processes and workflows.- Experience in customizing and configuring ServiceNow modules to meet business needs.- Ability to develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation within the ServiceNow platform.- Knowledge of agile software development practices and version control systems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
