Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality, interactive lessons in Social Studies (History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics) for Classes 6 to 10. - Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the CBSE/State Board curriculum, incorporating diverse teaching strategies and technology integration. - Assess student performance through regular tests, projects, presentations, and formative assessments; provide timely and constructive feedback. - Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through discussion-based learning, case studies, and real-world applications. - Collaborate with department heads and colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide academic initiatives. - Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (BA in History, Geography, Political Science, or equivalent) with a B.Ed. qualification. - Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school setting, preferably in the CBSE or Haryana State Board system. - Strong subject knowledge and proficiency in teaching Social Studies to middle school students. - Demonstrated ability to use digital tools (e.g., LMS, presentation software, interactive whiteboards) to enhance classroom learning. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. - Commitment to student-centered learning, inclusivity, and ethical teaching practices. - Valid teaching certification (e.g., CTET or equivalent) is preferred. - Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative school environment in Ambala, Haryana.
