We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore SAP BW/HANA Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW on HANA modeling, BW ABAP scripting, HANA modeling, and HANA SQL. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in end-to-end implementation, including requirement gathering, data modeling, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support. This role requires a strong technical background in SAP data warehousing and reporting solutions, along with the ability to work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and onshore/offshore delivery teams. Work hours overlap with US business hours first half. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support SAP BW on HANA data models and reporting solutions. Build and optimize Info Providers, Composite Providers, Advanced DSOs, Open ODS Views, and Transformations in BW on HANA. Develop and maintain data extraction, data loading, and data transformation routines. Create and enhance BW ABAP routines, including: Start routines End routines Field routines Expert routines Design and develop SAP HANA Calculation Views, Attribute Views, and Analytical Views (where applicable). Write and optimize HANA SQL , table functions and SQLScript procedures for high-performance data processing. Perform performance tuning of BW/HANA data models, queries, transformations, and load processes. Work on data modeling, data provisioning, and data integration from SAP and non-SAP source systems. Support end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including: Requirement analysis Technical design Development Unit testing SIT/UAT support Deployment Hypercare and production support Collaborate with onsite leads to translate reporting and analytics requirements into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to BW/HANA data loads, modeling objects, and query performance. Prepare technical design documents, unit test documents, and support documentation. Follow development best practices, naming standards, transport management, and release processes. Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams for timely delivery of project tasks. Back ground knowledge on other cloud data warehouse like snow flake, Azure fabric, data bricks and reporting tools SAC and Power BI will be advantage.
