Senior Mainframe Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM , and mainframe testing . The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience in system testing, regression testing, and API testing , and the ability to work in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM . - Perform system testing (SIT), functional testing, and regression testing for mainframe applications. - Create, run, and execute JCLs , validate job statuses in spool , and troubleshoot JCL errors. - Write and execute complex SQL queries for mainframe database validation. - Conduct API testing using tools like Postman/Insomnia and integrate automation using TOSCA or similar tools. - Track and monitor defects , execute test cases, and generate test reports and metrics . - Collaborate with BAs, Business Users, and Scrum Teams to ensure seamless project execution. - Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and assist business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) . - Implement automation testing using TOSCA or Selenium (preferred). - Ensure compliance with organization-wide testing and development guidelines . Mandatory Skills: - Mainframe Development & Testing (COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM) - API Testing (Postman, Insomnia) - Automation Testing (TOSCA – good to have) Preferred Skills (Good to Have): - Performance Testing (JMeter) - Experience in Agile methodologies and test automation If you are a Mainframe Developer looking to work on challenging projects in a collaborative environment, apply now!
