Job Title: Software Engineer-Power BI developer Position: Software Engineer Experience: 3- 6 Years Category: Software Development/ Engineering Main location: Bangalore, Chennai Employment Type: Full Time #LI-SK38 Your future duties and responsibilities: Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions. Manage and support Power BI Embedded implementations. Configure and maintain semantic models, datasets, and data source connections. Execute report migration, deployment, and environment management activities. Develop scripts and automation solutions for deployment and migration processes. Perform testing, validation, and quality assurance of reports and dashboards. Troubleshoot and resolve Power BI-related issues. Collaborate with business users, developers, and project stakeholders. Support release management and CI/CD implementation for Power BI solutions. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and reporting standards. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Must Have 3–6 years of experience in Power BI development. Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Power BI Embedded. Good understanding of semantic models and data source configurations. Experience in scripting and automation for deployment or migration activities. Hands-on experience with deployment pipelines and environment management. Knowledge of testing and validation processes. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and coordination skills. Good to Have Experience with Power BI report migration projects. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong SQL skills and data integration knowledge. Experience in the Banking/Financial Services domain. Knowledge of Power BI performance optimization and governance best practices.
