Senior Accountant (payable, taxation, receivable)

About the Opportunity A fast-scaling fintech and business process outsourcing (BPO) firm in India, we empower mid-market enterprises with streamlined accounting, tax compliance, and financial operations. Our clients span SaaS, e-commerce, and manufacturing sectors—relying on us to manage their books with precision, automate workflows, and ensure statutory adherence across GST, TDS, and corporate tax frameworks. We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant to own end-to-end AP/AR and tax accounting—turning complex transactions into clean, audit-ready records. Role & Responsibilities - Manage full-cycle accounts payable: vendor onboarding, invoice processing, 3-way matching, payment runs, and aging reconciliation. - Oversee accounts receivable: billing accuracy, customer credit control, collection follow-ups, and ledger reconciliation. - Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS returns, and reconciliations—ensuring 100% statutory compliance. - Reconcile inter-company transactions, bank statements, and suspense accounts with zero tolerance for variances. - Collaborate with finance & audit teams to close monthly/quarterly books and support statutory audits. - Identify process efficiencies—automate manual AP/AR workflows using ERP features or Excel macros.
