Manager - Data Center

Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Center Operations Management: - Oversee daily data center operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, and operating systems. - Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of Datacenter Compute, Storage and Networking systems. 2. Infrastructure Management: - Manage data center infrastructure, including networking, Storage and server systems. - Plan, implement, and maintain data center infrastructure upgrades and migrations. 3. Capacity Planning and Management: - Develop and maintain capacity plans to ensure data center infrastructure meets business demands. - Monitor and optimize resource utilization to prevent bottlenecks and waste. 4. Security and Compliance: - Ensure data center security, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met - Implement and maintain security controls, access management, and incident response procedures. 5. Team Management: - Lead, train, and mentor data center operations team members. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 6. Vendor Management: - Manage relationships with data center vendors, contractors, and partners. - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements. 7. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: - Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans. - Ensure data center operations align with organizational resilience goals. 8. Budgeting and Cost Management: - Manage data center budget, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives. Requirements: 1. Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. 2. 6-9 years of experience in data center operations management. 3. Proven expertise in data center infrastructure, security, and compliance. 4. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 5. Experience with data center management tools, such as DCIM, ITSM, and monitoring software. 6. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001 etc). Nice to Have: 1. Relevant certifications: ITIL, CKA, CCNA, RHCA etc 2. Experience with cloud, hybrid, or edge computing environments. 3. Knowledge of Kubernetes and DevOps practices. Skills: Devops, Kubernetes, Data Center, Monitoring, Leadership, Communication Experience: 6.00-9.00 Years
