SAP Functional Data Analyst - SAP BRIM (Senior)

Job Title - SAP Functional Data Analyst - SAP BRIM (Senior) Experience Required - 7+ Years Timezone - EST (Approx 6:30 PM IST to start, 8 hours a day) Budget - 1.50 LPM Work Mode - Remote Duties and Responsibilities SAP BRIM Functional Data Analysis. - Analyze and support SAP BRIM data structures and business processes across: - Subscription Order Management (SOM). - Convergent Charging (CC). - Convergent Invoicing (CI). - Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA). - Support data-related activities for customer accounts, subscriptions, billing, invoicing, payments, and receivables management. - Assist with identification, analysis, and resolution of data quality issues. Data Mapping & Validation - Develop and maintain: - Source-to-target mapping documents. - Data transformation rules. - Data validation procedures. - Reconciliation documentation. - Analyze legacy system data and support mapping to SAP BRIM target structures. - Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency during migration and integration activities. Data Migration Support - Support SAP BRIM data migration initiatives including: - Data extraction. - Cleansing. - Transformation. - Loading. - Validation. - Reconciliation. - Collaborate with data migration architects and technical teams to resolve migration issues and defects. - Participate in mock conversions, cutover planning, and production deployment support. Reporting & Analytics Support - Support development and validation of: - Billing reports. - Revenue and invoicing analytics. - Customer account reporting. - Financial reconciliation reports. - Operational dashboards and KPIs. - Assist business teams with ad hoc reporting and data analysis requests. - Ensure reporting aligns with business and regulatory requirements. Business Process Analysis - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data and reporting requirements. - Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for data quality improvement and process optimization. - Support workshops and requirements sessions related to BRIM data and reporting processes . - Translate business requirements into functional data specifications. Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with: - SAP BRIM functional consultants. - SAP S/4HANA teams. - Data architects. - Integration teams. - Technical developers. - Support data integration and reconciliation activities between SAP BRIM and related systems. - Ensure consistency and integrity of enterprise billing and financial data. Testing & Quality Assurance - Develop and execute: - Data validation scripts. - Test scenarios. - User acceptance testing ( UAT ). - Reconciliation testing. - Support defect tracking, issue analysis, and resolution activities. - Validate end-to-end data flows and reporting outputs. Documentation & Governance - Create and maintain: - Functional specifications. - Data dictionaries. - Data governance documentation. - Reporting definitions. - Operational procedures. - Support enterprise data governance and compliance initiatives. - Ensure adherence to data quality standards and audit requirements. Training & User Support - Provide user support and knowledge transfer related to SAP BRIM data and reporting processes. - Assist business users with troubleshooting and operational reporting needs. - Support user adoption and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience for Senior Role - 7+ years of experience in SAP data analysis, reporting, or functional support roles. - 4+ years of direct experience supporting SAP BRIM or related SAP billing environments. Required Qualifications - Proven experience supporting enterprise billing, invoicing, or subscription management processes. - Strong understanding of enterprise data management and reporting principles. - Experience supporting: - SAP BRIM data structures and business processes. - Billing and invoicing operations. - Subscription and customer account management. - Data migration and reconciliation activities. - Strong understanding of: - Data mapping and transformation. - Data quality management. - Reporting and analytics processes. - Financial reconciliation concepts. - Experience with: - SQL and data analysis tools. - SAP reporting tools. - SAP S/4HANA integrations. - Functional specifications and testing documentation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. - Strong data analysis and reconciliation capabilities. - Ability to facilitate workshops and requirements discussions. - Strong organisational and documentation skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with: - SAP Datasphere. - SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). - SAP BW/4HANA. - SAP Data Services (BODS). - Enterprise ETL and reporting tools. - Experience in utilities, telecommunications, transportation, finance, or subscription-based industries. - Experience supporting Agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies. - Prior consulting or contractor experience in enterprise SAP environments. Required Certifications - Preferred certifications include one or more of the following: - SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management. - SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Contract Accounting (FI-CA). - SAP S/4HANA certifications preferred. - Data analytics or business intelligence certifications are preferred. Education - Bachelor's degree in: - Information Systems. - Computer Science. - Data Analytics. - Finance. - Business Administration. - Related discipline.
