Quality Engineer 1 MarTech Job Description: What Youll Do: - Develop automated tests across UI, API, event level validation, and cross system integration points. - Perform hands-on manual, exploratory, and regression testing for customer-facing experiences. - Define test strategies for ETL and data pipelines that move and transform customer, campaign, and event data. - Validate data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness across source and target systems. - Collaborate with engineers early in the development lifecycle to identify risks and improve testability. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated checks and quality gates. - Analyze failures, identify root causes, and communicate risks clearly. - Continuously improve test frameworks, tooling, and engineering practices. What You Bring: - 36 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Engineering. - Strong experience with automation-first testing. - Hands on experience with Playwright, Jest, Jasmine , and API testing for REST/GraphQL services. - Experience with triaging tools similar to: Splunk, Firebase, Dynatrace, Full Story - Proficiency in JavaScript for test development. - Solid understanding of web architectures, ETL architectures, APIs, and modern front-end systems. - Familiarity with LaunchDarkly, Tealium, AEM, and/or Algonomy (preferred). - Experience testing complex, integrated systems. - Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams.
