QA Engineer

About Position: We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Linux, Manul/Automation Testing (Python) with Database Testing (SQL). The ideal candidate will have experience working in Quality Assurance, with a focus on automation, scripting, and Linux. System testing for Linux based applications, web application testing, test automation, security testing for the product based on Linux. - Role: QA Engineer - Location: All Persistent Location - Experience: 3 to 5 years - Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: - Troubleshoot and work across both manual and automated testing environments. - Automating and managing existing automation using Python/Sheel Scripting, - Containers, Ansible. Managing CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins. Perform stress testing, performance testing on data warehousing appliances. - Manage, drive, and complete assigned tasks, issues, and plans from start to finish, ensuring timely project milestones. - Work effectively within teams, sharing knowledge and supporting junior team members. - Working closely with other team members of the development team, as well as customer or clients, to ensure that applications are developed according to specifications. Expertise You'll Bring: - In-depth knowledge of Linux commands, basic Linux OS understanding (RHEL 7/8), and networking fundamentals. - Hands-on experience with SQL for database queries, validations, and data analysis. Proficient in types of testing (functional, regression, performance, etc.), test plan creation, test case design, and managing the defect life cycle. - Proficiency in Shell scripting and familiarity with Python for automation and testing purposes. - Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently. - Excellent verbal communication, ideally with client-facing experience.
