We are looking for an experienced Manual/Functional Tester, with experience in Banking and Financial Services domain, to join our team. Your future duties and responsibilities: • Analyze requirement documents, user stories, acceptance criteria and understand banking/financial workflows and identify testing scope dependencies, assumptions and risks. • Create detailed test scenarios/cases covering positive, negative, boundary conditions, exception handling and regulatory validations • Prepare test data required for test execution. • Ensure traceability between requirement and test cases. • Review test cases with Product Owner and Product Manager and incorporate the feedback. • Execute manual test cases during Sprint and Release Testing phase. Validate business rules, workflow processing, screen/UI behavior, data accuracy and end-to-end workflows. • Perform Exploratory Testing to uncover hidden defects. • Discover and log defects in Jira with clear steps and evidence. • Collaborate and work with developers to get the defects fixed. • Retest and verify defect fixes. • Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives and PI Planning events. • Support teams in resolving requirement ambiguities. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Must-Have Skills: • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. • Expertise with Manual/Functional Testing, test design and defect management. • Experience in Banking & Financial Services domain, preferably with Loan Originations, Debt Collections and Payments Processing (elementary level) • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Hands-on experience with test management tools like Jira, Xray and Confleunce • Good communication and presentation skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good-to-have Skills: Requirement Analysis and User Stories Creation Backlog refinement Presentation & Communication Skills Skills: - Requirements Analysis - Testing - Banking - CACS - Collections What you can expect from us: Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
