QA lead

Description Role Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive quality engineering initiatives across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will lead QA teams, define testing strategies, implement automation frameworks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires strong leadership, testing expertise, stakeholder management, and a quality-first mindset. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers across multiple projects. - Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance processes. - Drive end-to-end testing activities including functional, regression, integration, UAT, and automation testing. - Establish and improve test automation frameworks and best practices. - Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables. - Manage defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality metrics reporting. - Monitor testing progress, risks, dependencies, and release readiness. - Ensure adherence to QA standards, SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and automation coverage. - Support production releases and post-release validation activities. Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance. - 2+ years of experience leading QA teams. - Strong expertise in Manual and Automation Testing. - Hands-on experience with automation tools such as: - Selenium WebDriver - Playwright - Cypress - TestNG - Cucumber - Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, and Swagger. - Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing. - Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications Preferred Skills - Experience with Performance Testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. - Exposure to cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure. - Experience testing Microservices and Distributed Systems. - Knowledge of Security Testing and Accessibility Testing. - Experience in Retail, E-commerce, or Digital Commerce domains.
