We’re looking for passionate Junior QA Engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to build robust, automated testing systems from the ground up. Summary As a Junior QA Engineer (Automation-Focused), you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product suite by driving automation initiatives across web and mobile platforms. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts while actively collaborating with development teams to catch issues early. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow rapidly in a high-impact engineering environment, contribute to scalable testing frameworks, and shape quality practices in a fast-moving startup. Responsibilities - Design, write, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing using modern tools - Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproducible steps and debugging insights - Collaborate closely with developers to understand feature logic, edge cases, and system behavior - Drive regression automation to reduce manual effort and accelerate release cycles - Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release coordination - Stay updated with best practices in test automation and quality engineering - Gradually take ownership of test coverage for assigned product modules Requirements Requirements: - 1+ year of QA experience (including internships), with demonstrable hands-on automation experience - Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or Python preferred) - Practical experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or similar - Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and RESTful API concepts - Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to trace issues across layers - Comfortable reading and understanding code, including backend logic and service interactions - Proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field Additional Information Type: Full-time, Hybrid Experience: 0–2 Years Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore
