Senior Integration Engineer - AOSP

Job Description: Designation : Senior Integration Engineer – AOSP (Automotive ECU) Exp : 7 -10 years Location : Bangalore Key Responsibilities: - Maintain system stability, traceability, and version control throughout integration cycles. - Collaborate with client teams to verify integration success and execute STS tests. - Document integration workflows, patch impacts, and resolutions. - Work closely with CI/CD teams to ensure merged code compiles and passes baseline test criteria. - Integrate monthly AOSP security and feature patches into a custom Android-based ECU platform. Resolve complex multi-branch merge conflicts and ensure successful upstream/downstream code alignment. Required Skills: - Expert in Git, Gerrit, repo-based workflows, and handling large-scale code merges. - Strong understanding of AOSP repo tool, manifest management, and build flows. - Experience maintaining clean multi-branch strategies (e.g., long-term support vs feature branches). - Solid understanding of Linux kernel, HALs, init/system services, and Android build system. Optional / Nice to have: - Scripting knowledge (Python/Bash) to automate merge and diff operations. - Familiarity with Github actions or other CI tools for automated patch validation.
